TRACE EVIDENCE - BILLY JACOBS

Theodore is pleased to present "Trace Evidence," an exhibition of new work by Billy Jacobs. This is his third solo show with the gallery. Jacobs is preoccupied with the dark dusty neglected corners of historical crimes and misdemeanour's. This group of paintings are inspired by recent revelations and admissions demonstrating the CIA's intense interest in Lee Harvey Oswald prior to the assassination of John F. Kennedy.

NOW & THEN - DAN PERJOVSCHI

Jane Lombard Gallery is pleased to present Now & Then, a solo exhibition of new and existing works by gallery artist Dan Perjovschi. For his fifth solo exhibition with the gallery, Perjovschi revisits his hallmark in-situ drawings and graphic notations, offering sharp, satirical assertions on contemporary politics and social movements. In dialogue with new works on paper, the gallery will display Perjovschi’s 1994 series, Postcards from America, thirty years after their debut. Playful and speculative, Perjovschi’s perspective depicts his observations of America as personal adventures.

Mrs. is honored to present You’ll Understand Soon, a solo exhibition by California-based artist Lily Ramírez. This intimate collection of oil stick drawings on kozo paper invites a deeply moving exploration of the human experience. Through her evocative works, Ramírez delves into the complexities of family, friendship, loss, and abandonment, while revealing the quiet, often unnoticed loneliness that shapes our daily lives.

STAR LIGHT STAR BRIGHT - HOU DE SOUSA

As 2024 winds down yes, we know, it was just June), we're inviting New Yorkers to take stock of their wishes for the new year and help us create something magical in Lower Manhattan. From November 21 to January 9, , locals and visitors alike can engage with our "Star Light Star Bright" installation by attaching their "wishes" to the brightly lit star structure on the plaza at 140 Broadway.
